Why limit it to 1 day? Sprinkle in a few days throughout the year, adjacent to major events... I.E. Coach Abe leaving, winning a big game, etc.

Also, send a student to stand next to every pan-handler across Orange County... Give people waiting at intersections some options, 9 out of 10 will choose UCF athletics no doubt, especially if it's a co-ed out there.*

I read somewhere that in 2021 there were 3133 donors and raised $835,000.
