Here is something to think about? We know that GOL has always been defensive minded, which has paid off over the years. We did good with Taaffe as the OC he left for radio. It would be good to pick up one of the best offensive coordinators in college football. Someone that can coach QB as well. Check out the list of coaches in the link posted. Who do you like?? What about Danny Langsdorf, Not saying he is the one, but is proven developing QB position. Danny Langsdorf, Nebraska: Langsdorf worked with Huskers coach Mike Riley at Oregon State and has an NFL background as well. In 2014, he mentored New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning, who threw for 4,410 yards—the second-highest total in his career. :sunglasses:http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2503944-best-offensive-coordinators-in-college-football/page/3

I'd rather focus on guys who can recruit like Wilson from LSU or Durkin

If it were up to me, I would spend extra to get an OC and/or coach that has success developing QBs. The QB is the most important position in football. You don't have a decent QB you suck. Sometimes there are good qbs on bad teams, but it is unlikely you will find a good team with a bad qb. In general, hard to find any examples of this not being true. This goes for college or even the NFL. Taaffe was able to make hodges, godfrey, bortles and holman all successful.
