ITT: List the reasons why this could be a down year for UCF:

15. Unpredictability. This is related to the new coaches/schemes points, but I think it's critical. Teams will have a lot of trouble scheming for a team that they don't really know what to expect. There's simply no tape or track record for them to go off of.

16. TEs - very athletic and will be called upon to catch passes which hasn't happened in over a decade (notice we don't have HBs). This is the group that I'm most curious about.

Our OL has tons of experience being turnstiles. They certainly didn't learn blocking last year. Didn't we have a game with a total of minus 19 rushing yards?

We won't be as injured as last year. Last year we were the most injured team in the country. Hopefully the new training regiment and conditioning also helps prevent injuries.

From my experiences, mainly seeing development at practices, OLinemen take the longest to develop AND the longest to "gel." Returning oline starters generally are the 2nd most important group of returning starters behind a good returning QB. You could probably predict the success or regression of an offense by how many oline starters or upperclassmen WITH experience are returning. They are that important.

Fact is we didn't have very many returning oline starters, or upperclassmen last year. This year is different. Get excited.
