Here is the way I aee it. This war is a war of attrition and a slow slow stalemate . Ukraine is on the losing side over the long haul. The only way Ukraine wins here in a ear is the US sends in combat troops and equipment. To appease the leftist here, maybe we build a Gulf War coalition where we lead and all those so called great Europeans chip in some, but either way that's a hot war with Russia and start of WWIII.
As an American citizen and tax payer I have no appetite for yet another war involving our troops and especially a potential hot war in Europe. You guys make this binary choice between Russia and Ukraine like we truly have to chose. How about this? Russia sucks and Ukraine is corrupt and I am done funding Ukraine.
So, we can just stop funding and let Putin walk all over them or force Ukraine into a negotiations, get a settlement of some kind and then stop finding them. Putin pulls back and Ukraine doesn't have to sacrifice thousands more of limited population. How about doing this?
Ukraine is only where it is because of our money. Nothing disgusts me more in this life than entitlement and lack of gratitude. Zalinsky is the embodiment of entitlement here. He isn't entitled to our treasure and I damn sure I don't want our blood spilled in his country.
So if all those Socialists in Europe side with Ukraine, then good for them. Let them stroke the pen and bail this corrupt clown out.
