This is the one thing I agree with.

But keep in mind ... it was the 2016 election narrative that caused the questioning of our Democratic system in the first place. The 2020 election took it much, much worse.

But what many people are arguing against is Soviet-style central planning that is utterly filled with corruption and actually costly, anti-environmental policy, because the implementation and non-sense is laughable to anyone with an engineering background.

I cannot emphasize this enough.

Spoiler: The Reality

I.e., it's a great time, money-wise, to be an Electrical or Environmental Engineer, because the US federal and some state governments are wasting massive amounts of money building stupid, even self-defeating, 'green' solutions that are about control and lobbyists ... which is why we're 'face palm' at the same time.

E.g., a lot of the big oil lobbyists have found a lot of work at these green companies.

But this goes back to my original complaint against The Sierra Club and what it has 'accomplished' over the past half-century, and why California should be the posterchild for how to destroy the environment at 10x the cost.

We must remain educated to be free and actually have real, pro-environmental policy.

There's no bigger proof of this than to read any alleged 'Pro-Solar' amendment. Just put your 'lip service' down in an amendment/bill, and you can get a lot of taxpayer money, and basically destroy any market solutions and your competition ... including end-homeowners.
