Torn ACL. What a year.

We've now lost
Chris Williams (#2/3 CB) -season
D.J. Killings (#2/3 CB) - season
Justin Holman (#1 QB) 2-4 weeks
Jordan Akins (#1 WR) season
Taylor Oldham (#2/3 WR) -month/season?
Demetrius Anderson (#1 DT) season
Dontravious Wilson (#1 RB) month?
Chavis Dickey (RT) month or so?
Miles Pace (#2/3 DE) season
Joey Grant (#1 C) career
Will Stanback- M.I.A.

Am I missing anyone? That's 5-6 starters right there (3 of them being crushing losses-Holman, Akins, even Wilson)

Although the offense would still struggle, the secondary would look completely different if we had Killings and Williams (who I thought were very solid players)

With those guys in the lineup we are 2-1 right now.

Between last year's departures and this year's injuries, we have had to replace the following positions:
QB- Justin Holman
RB- Will Stanback/Dontravious Wilson
WR 1- Breshad Perriman
WR 2- Rannell Hall
WR 3- J.J Worton
WR 4- Josh Reese
WR 5- Jackie Williams/Jordan Akins
C- Joey Grant
LT- Torrian Wilson
RT- Chavis Dickey
MLB- Terrance Plummer
OLB-Troy Gray
DT 1- Demetrius Anderson
DE 2/3 Miles Pace
CB #1- Jacoby Glenn
CB #2 - Jordan Ozerites/Chris Williams
FS #1- Brandon Alexander
SS #1- Clayton Geathers
K- Shawn Moffitt

Wow. Didn't realize just how many people we lost from 2014/2015 injuries until I just wrote that out.

Miles Pace left the program
You also are missing Kevin Miller and Chris Davis, who each quit the team either before or during fall camp.
And Killings isn't hurt, officially. He's just not playing for some reason.

Well.. Look on the bright side. There's 2016. Put Stanback to return kickoffs
GOL doesn't like him anyway. What do we have to lose?

Is Jordan Franks playing wide receiver with a cast on one of his hands? I thought I saw him running around out there with a club on one of his hands.

Miles Pace

Pace, a 6-2, 250 lb., senior from Miami, Fla., was named the CIAA Defensive Lineman of the Week. He recorded six tackles, including 4 tackles for a loss of 27 yards and two sacks. Pace also recovered a fumble and broke up a pass in Virginia Union's win over Saint Augustine's.

Yes...caught 2 passes in his first action of the season.

Hopefully, he can be even more involved once the cast comes off but when Akins went down, both he and #12 Blake Tiralosi (who caught his first college reception vs Furman...had 5 total to lead UCF in that game) seem to capitalize on Akins absence.

Why do ppl keep saying we'd be 2-1 with Holman (and now Akins)? They played and we lost to FIU.

ppl as in trolls? Because trolls don't actually go to UCF Games...they know very little and get all their info from other 140 characters from other trolls.

I gave your post a "like" just for that comprehensive list you put together. Well done. Add up graduations, early entries to the NFL, and injuries, and an 0-3 start isn't all that big of a shocker. There's still time to turn things around, as I've said before, but the turnaround has to start in the next three or four weeks for us to have another shot at winning the conference title (yeah, I know, I'm crazy for suggesting that we can still win another one this season).

With everyone healthy. Not just those 2.

Lots of other injuries and illnesses for that game as well. Just needed the slightest more of an edge actually. It was THAT close. We should have escaped with and ugly win.

Only problem is we aren't getting most of these players back this year or ever.
Sucks.

Can't do anything about the players who aren't playing, but the guys taking their place can step up their performance as the season goes on. Easier said than done, I know, but these younger guys can pull it off.

So you agree that even with both guys healthy we'd still be 0-3, right? Glad you finally see the light, KL.

This is starting to look like the baseball team where we have over a 50% turnover from one year to the next.
