Late sharing this but instead of listening to Cowturd and Lipbalm attempting to convince the public that Auburn didnt try lets hear it from the future NFLers mouth.

“Our execution just wasn’t clicking,” Johnson said. “It was nothing they were really doing that was just killing us -- we were just messing up. When you do that and don’t have any adjustments to make. With that, we just had to come out and decide if we wanted to win the game or not. We showed we fought to the end. We just came up a little short.”

Writers and fans who kiss the butt of the P5 concept sound idiotic when they talk about teams not wanting to finish strong. The case was made on both sides for the Peach Bowl on how a win can be a positive whether its proclaiming yourselves national champs or the momentum to have a high ranking for the preseason.
Its also a great selling point for the program's history too. Auburn fans don't like that Malzahn's only bowl win was in Birmingham regardless of how he rescued them from the mess Gene Chizik left them in.

So they paid him $49 million and he can’t make adjustments?

Sounds like a guy and team that wanted to win, contrary to SEC elitist opinion

We beat a rested SEC powerhouse. Just like Memphis just lost to an Iowa State team that most likely was the one on that day who beat Oklahoma and TCU

Surprising news, Stidham announced he’s coming back. That guy is terrible. How’d they win 10 games with him?

I guess the rest of us were imagining that our team (UCF) was on the field. He's saying that we should of just stayed home and let Auburn run around on the field by themselves or better yet forfeit the game to us. Great logic here Johnson. Is this what a degree at Auburn is getting you? Good luck in the real world after life in the SEC :)
