1. Turnovers
2. Free throw shooting
3. Everybody hitting a good percentage of shots (if mattie and BJ are on..yay!)
4. Coach being able to change up the strategy when things not working
5. Tacko staying in game and having a well rounded game

:)

6. Keeping emotions in control and block out crowd noise (or silencing them with scoring runs)
7. Distributing the ball to keep everyone involved so defense can key on a couple of our guys
8. Act like you belong and are just taking care of business
9. Frustrate them and make them lose their confidence: long home win streaks lead to "we always find a way to pull things out" and a need to not let their fans down again after getting blown out by Wichita and "settling" for the NIT consolation prize; use that entitlement against them to make them panic and try too hard.

UCF won just 1 road game this year when the "announced" crowd was listed over 5,000 (@ Temple 5,073, actually was probably in the mid 4's).

Illinois State drew 5,124 for their first round game while students were on Spring Break. Students are back now and Univ expects a loud crowd in the 8,000-9,000 plus range.

Believe the students got 100 free tickets while the rest will have to pay.

Their ticket master system has "low availability in 7 upper level sections with 3 sections listing availability as medium. (You can click on one section and see individual seats).

Redbird Arena seats 10,200.

Looks like there's about 1,000 tickets left in the upper deck (the $10 tickets). Lower deck is $15. Student tickets were $5, so some may not sell?? What else is there to do in Normal, Illinois (sometime labeled the Midwest version of the south).

They have their off nights, but usually they are around 45% from 3pt range. Defense is going to have to stay in their face on the perimeter and force this to be an "off night".

Knight_classes was right on with his keys. Everyone scored in the second half, allowing BJ, AJ, Nick to roam free -- forced them into playing man-to-man, which they sucked at. ESPN still bemoaning in the follow-up game how poorly Illinois State play. What? They didn't give UCF anything and never quit. They never missed a free throw. Had only 7 turnovers the whole game. Continued to loop the ball over Tacko. We just turned in up a couple notches, changed our zone, "drove them off the (3-point) line," and took it right at them on both ends of the court.

Maybe early 6 pm tip-off saved UCF from the game being a hard sellout.

BJ Taylor said in his post-game interview with Daniels that he wants to set a CFE Arena Attendance record on Wed night....and Daniels said right afterwards..."This team deserves it."

True. They just cooled off on the 3s in the second half and we made our shots. If they hit a couple of timely shots during our comeback this game would be there's by single digits.

ESPN at halftime just called the last foul a "makeup" foul for the bad call(s) on the other end. But ISU guy didn't get there in time. ESPN sounds like they really wanted their narrative to come true: ISU vs Illinois (as if Boise St. might not win anyway). As if people would ever bother to tune in to such a game? The first time I'd ever heard of Illinois St. was when Nick was listed as transferring from there.
