Mac is gonna be punting on Sundays eventually. Too much talent to at least not be given a chance.
For a while there I was beginning to wonder what was the point of this new dedicated special teams coach. Glad that he's earning his money now and we can see the impact. Would like to see some big returns though.
Why? Because he has a crazy beard?
He's 47th in the nation in punting average with 42.5 yards a kick. Nothing incredible.

Punting average could be dinged if you don't punt much from deep inside your territory. Just saying.

the #20 punter averages 43.8 yards per punt.
