Let's talk realistic replacements for George

Mizzou job is now open. The current situation on that campus will make their search interesting, there might be some Coaches that will want to avoid it. This coaching carousel will be very competitive, UCF needs an AD ASAP

A decision by South Carolina's football program this past week indicates the hiring of a new head coach should be finalized soon.

A source told FOXSports.com that Gamecocks assistant coaches were told to stop pursuing commitments from high school players. Such a move was done to keep scholarships open for recruits that the new head coach would want to pursue.

South Carolina is seeking a replacement for Steve Spurrier, who quit last month midway through his 11th season at the school. As first reported by FOXSports.com, offensive line coach Shawn Elliott was promoted to replace Spurrier on an interim basis

Paul Rhoades of Iowa State. The record is not very good, but his teams are always tough. He recruits the state of Florida reasonably well, given he is trying to get kids to leave Florida to go to Aimes, Iowa. They hung with OU for most of the first half the other night, they gave Baylor a tough game a few weeks ago, and they had Okie Light on the ropes. His teams have a history of playing really tough. Of course, he would have to get fired first, so he probably isn't going to be available anytime soon-very popular coach up there in Aimes.

I'm just adding this name if Danny White is hired as AD. Buffalo coach Lance Liepold. He's in his 50s. His commodity hasnt skyrocketed yet like Dino Babers so he'll be under the radar for now.
