As Will Cain said on ESPN yesterday afternoon (paraphrase) "Its sad when it comes to group think..as all those like you (college grads) all have the same exact ideology/political belief."

Fortunately, that has never been the case with myself, regardless what state or city I lived in...as I always had a diverse group of friends...with and without college degrees and I have never been in a "group" that all believed the same thing.

Like Will said: "Thats so dang boring" (to be surrounded by others who are exactly the same).

you realize theres been laws in place for decades that makes paying men/women differently illegal right? that whole 77 cent thing is a complete fabrication. heres a question for you, if it were true, wouldnt corporations only hire women? it would save them a ton of money...

I just found out a man (or even dare say a WOMAN) who is a recent computer engineering grad starts off life with a much higher starting salary than a recent elementary education major (Female) who is teaching 1st grade.

I've always been in industries where people are paid based on performance in said industries and many times that's been some men and other times its been women...but the INDUSTRY one chooses basically decides what your worth is to the economy.

The hate on the left right now is something I would have never expected out of them just a dozen years ago. It's not just select, troublemaking outlets either. It's way, way too mainstream.

Yep, that 1981 study -- claimed to be based on '70s statistics -- was proven fabricated. It took major liberties in application -- e.g., women who had never worked and were now divorced, which would apply to alimony in general (regardless of gender).

Now it was still 93 cents on the dollar, not 77 ... but, again, it was based on '70s statistics.
