There is not a lot of exciting things that happen in Boca. I mean it is basically a bedroom community which still has quite a few Snow Bird/Retirees. One would think that the local University making it to the Final Four would be at least somewhat of a big deal. I have not seen one sign; you get a brief mention on the evening news and that's it. I was on FAU campus on Tuesday night for the Baseball game and did not even see a sign or anything on campus. When the announcer at the baseball game was announcing all of the FAU sporting events he led with Women’s Beach Volleyball not with the Basketball Team making the final 4.
Orlando does not always support UCF as much as we may like, but when we were making runs you saw signs, etc. Congratulating the team. There were things on campus, there was at least a little Buzz. There does not seem to be anyone that really gives a Hoot for the Owls.
