Guys n Gals.. stop with the Miami vs UCF argument..
Remember Miami had a bad season & went 8-4. Why was it bad, Al Golden did not know how to coach a program with the elite talent such as UM..
Proof, look at the Amount of targets Dorsett got? He is a pretty good WR, and Drafted in the 1st round.. But for some reason, was not a key player in the Tie's Offense..
Mark Richt may take some time, but honestly Miami has a 10-2 Team Talent wise this season, that was wasted by just simply horrific coaching..
Miami recruiting will tell a lot..
As for next Season. UCF going 3-9 would be considered a decent stepping stone season.. UCF this season was young, but you learn from mistakes.. [?= 50/50 Chance to Win.. ]
Michigan L. Maryland L. FIU ? Cincy L, Temple L, Tulane ?, Tulsa Probably L, but maybe ?,
UConn ?, ECU W, Houston L, USF W.... If Taggert leaves.. otherwise ? cause Rivalry games usually are tossups..
As For Richt. Depends on the recruits brought in. & who goes to play on Sundays... As of now Many UM fans such as myself with a Realistic mindset, I would say next season has 2 really tough games.. & 1 or 2 Semi Tough games.. I expect to Win the 8 others.. If UM splits the Notre Dame & FSU games, it would be ok, not great, but acceptable for his 1st season.. Prefer to Beat FSU Obviously..
All Richt has to do is get Miami to the ACC Title game.. Not in his 1st season BTW.. It would be a bonus if he does, but realistically, It takes some time for a coach to establish his brand of football.. Usually 2 to 4 years depending on the pieces currently there..
CRAZY FACT: MIAMI HAS NEVER BEEN TO THE ACC TITLE GAME... OR WON THE ACC..
Kaaya as a QB many NFL Scouts are saying he is an OVERALL #1 pick, I would say no, but I am not a NFL Scout.
