He had such an amazing record at UCF and went undrafted. Is that common for kickers?

How hard is it to be a franchise kicker? I feel he's done everything Wright and still doesn't get a long-term contract and gets picked up as a backup by another team.

32 teams, each has one kicker and one punter. They kick until they're 40. The math just isn't in your favor, even if you're a good college kicker.
