Wow! We really are on ABC. That's so awesome!! I see no reason to see this changing. There are no other better games at that time.
I'm actually a little worried. I'm hoping it's not a blowout, but I do think that we are better than Hawaii.I just hope the whole nation doesn't see us get taken to the woodshed and they get to see a competitive game.
Don't get caught up with the final stats. You had to watch the game. For much of the first half, the running game was in negative yardage and the QB was 1 for 4. Any success that Hawaii had (pretty much none) was in extended garbage time. I think that our WRs and Akins are pretty scary as well. Can hope they're overconfident after plastering a tired Hawaii still on Australian time 10 time zones away (they traveled 20,000 miles total in 10 days). Mich held high-scoring Hawaii to a late field goal. On the other hand, Hawaii backs had some success running (129 yds on 31 carries) and QBs completed half their passes. They just never could stop Michigan, which never had to punt. UMich does have a new starter at QB and frosh RB. Also, they didn't face a no-huddle offense (each team had 60 plays). But their rush and DBs are scary, as was their OLine.

Espn says, "MICHIGAN: The Wolverines host Central Florida, who may not be as good as Hawaii, and they may have a chance to score 60-plus points in consecutive games for the first time since 1971."I just hope that we are within 14-21 points at halftime. I want to at least go up there and see a competitive game. It very well could be on national TV since Michigan and Harbough are now a team that people want to see and UCF/Frost's offense are intriguing against their defense. It also helps that we won.
I wonder what the betting line will be, ESPN matchup predictor gives us a 2% chance of winning and Michigan 98%.

Thanks! Hey.., I was planning on wearing my UCF shirt in most likely a sea of Michigan fans on the visitors sideline. Am I going to live??? Haha.
There you go bro. Hawaii had negative total yardage and 0 first downs until well into the 2nd quarter. Also, our starting RB is a 5th year senior, and the backup also a senior. Chris Evans is a true freshman who just played the majority of the game and was very good. He's not the starter though.
Are you getting your injured players back for this week? We're pretty healthy so far. And how long since you guys played an Oregon type offense (Ohio State is using one, I hear)? Thanks for the feedback. And ask any questions here. We're a polite lot generally.

Also, how's row 11?? Too close?

Thanks! UCF is sponsoring a tailgatingYou'll be fine. Will probably get offered free food & drink at any tailgate you pass. We're not quite Nebraska-nice, but we certainly won't throw cups of piss at you like OSU fans would.
Row 11 is a bit tough, the bowl is pretty flat there so I hope you're tall. Best rows are between 25-72 & you may be able to swap with a scalper before gametime.
Be sure to check out the tailgate action on the golf course directly south of the stadium.
Indiana is more Oregon-like than OSU (with obviously lesser talent) and they gave us fits! That was with Durkin however and Brown is known for defending against the spread so we'll see.
Lots of players dinged up this game but we have depth that we haven't seen in a decade. Probably no Taco, Mone, D. Johnson, or Hurst. Everyone else should be good to go.
Not trying to be a dick, but I'd guess about a 48-10 game final.
No, you're not being a dick. That's about right. However there are always surprises. on the golf course and I'm going. I figured as much about the seating when researching it. I'm on the 35-40
Yard line. There are better seats now on Stubhub (cheaper too), but it didn't want to wait. Maybe I will swap. I still have my UCF ticket, but it's like 90 rows up in section 9.
Have fun up there Mikesi !!!
You will be treated very well as (no offense), your team is not seen as a threat. The only fan bases that would be given anything would be Ohio State, Michigan State and Notre Dame and maybe Penn State/Wisconsin. This is my first season out of the student section so I can't speak for the sideline seats, but row 11 is just fine for the corners so I assume the same for the sideline. Thanks! Not so fast. At one point the forecast said 85 degrees and humid. It's now saying 77 and humid but mostly cloudy. Hopefully that holds up. I'm sunburnt from yesterdays game which was mid 70's and mostly sunny. It will be nice to escape the Florida heat. I waited 3 years for this!

The only injuries I'm aware of is Jourdan Lewis (All-American CB) who sat out yesterday but was available if needed and De'Veon Smith (our starting HB) who got nicked up yesterday and left the game but appeared fine. Other than that, we had a true freshman deep down the DL depth chart go down and our starting DE go down but neither seemed serious. By Oregon type do you mean hurry up or the spread? We've been notorious for struggling against spread offenses but we have a new DC this year who had the #1 defense last year for Boston College and handled the spread pretty well with even less talent than our team. We will see.

I know Florida gets pretty humid but Michigan is pretty notorious for it's humidity in the summer where our 90 degree days feel quite hotter than the 100 degree dry heat days out in Arizona, etc.
Even if UCF wins, you will not have anyone get hostile towards you unless you were obnoxious about it.Haha " We are not a threat." Love
It! It's actually so true, but it sounds funny to hear it. If a miracle happens though, I'm hightailing my threatening ass and UCF shirt the hell out of there!!!
As for the weather, I saw 80s and 60s for the highs and lows, now 70s and 50s. I'll take it!! Try going to a 95 degree humid noon game or an 85 degree humid 7:00 P.M. game. It's killer.
Fu$k Michigan!

Re big crowds and top competition: We've Played at Ohio State, Penn State (once at State College and again in Ireland) in recent years. Just like the Big Ten, we too used to get easy wins while in the MAC 15 years ago (no other conference would take us). We won the Fiesta Bowl 2 1/2 years ago and finished ranked in the top ten. After playing a 3-yards and a cloud of dust offense for years, Oregon's offensive coordinator is trying to teach the team a whole new system using smaller, quicker skill players and less heavy but more agile linemen on offense. But it's going to take some time for players to master and a season or two to recruit all the correct pieces. Clearly, everything depends on getting into a Power 5 conference because we cannot raise student fees any higher (4-years cost students over $1700). Is the Big 10 interested in playing conference games in your prime recruiting territory? Plueeeze! You will be treated very well as (no offense), your team is not seen as a threat. What's the usual ratio of alumni to "Walmart fans" at the Bighouse?
Well there are 20,000 students at every game. What's the usual ratio of alumni to "Walmart fans" at the Bighouse?
F7ck Michigan!Well there are 20,000 students at every game.
There are over 575,000 living Alumni as well.
Factor in the population of Ann Arbor (117,770).
And there's really no way to tell.. Besides a few.. You'll know. Other than that you got alumni and just people that have lived and breathed Michigan football from the day they were born just by being born in the area or born to someone who is an alum or to someone who's parents were an alum, etc.
Michigan was one of the most popular and successful college football teams in a time where professional football didn't even exist. When TV came on the scene, Michigan was one of the few teams shown. You can't really blame anyone for being a "fan" of the team/school, anyway.
Michigan fandom spans generations. It's not really something acquired just by going there like a lot of schools. (I don't know a single fan of a directional Michigan school that didn't go there for example, but I do know plenty of them that are both fans of their Alma mater and either Michigan/MSU). 10 years ago everyone was a Michigan fan besides Alums/people close to Alums of MSU, nowadays it's about a 50/50 split MSU/Michigan so there's some bandwagoner's like any fanbase but 99% of that stadium would not fall under the "Walmart Wolverine" category, regardless of where/if they went to school.
