He also recently followed UCF Football on Twitter, but then he followed two people who are said to be interviewing at South Carolina - Lincoln Riley and Will Muschamp.
Reading between the lines, maybe Spurrier Jr. is a "soft commitment" to Frost but is waiting to hear what happens at South Carolina. Maybe if he has the option to be retained, he'd rather just stay there and not move his family. Just a guess.
A Rivals colleague asked Spurrier Jr. last night about UCF and he wouldn't confirm or deny that it was an option.
