Name a ride and tell us why it is overrated to everything else.

The Rivian is overrated IMO. Looks like roger effing rabbit and nobody driving it is doing any fun truck stuff

Never owned an escalade personally, but a friend who owned two had transmission problems with both.

I rent intermediate cars routinely for work and was displeased with the Chevy Trax, I had never heard of that model before, digital gauge cluster graphics looked amateur.

I loved my 2011 Tacoma Trd off-road, but fuel economy while trailering > 70mph was putrid, as in 6-8mpg bad.

Can't wait for the most underrated car thread!

Never driven a Trax. They are popular with Motor home people because they can be flat towed behind the camper. Getting harder and harder to find towable cars. We have the new Frontier and tow a 5k travel trailer. Motors up and down the mountains like you are running solo. Get 11.5 to 12.75 while towing, can get over 13 if we are not in a hurry and keep speed to low 60's.
Worse car I ever had was Ford Focus they had Tranny flaw that they couldn't fix. They extended warrenty out to 100k, but it would be in the shop for new clutch pack every 15 to 20k miles. Had one set that only went 9k. Was great little car other than that.

majority of the 6cyl turbo offerings from Ford.

maintenance nightmare compared to the coyote.
Ram is discontinuing the V8 Hemi (Mopar staple for decades) in their 2025 line of trucks, replaced with turbo 6... Said to be for efficiency, but stickers show negligible MPG improvement. I had same the maintenance concern thought with an added component.

For the record, I love my '22 Laramie 4x4. Unbeatable growl with the a Flowmaster performance exhaust (IMO)

Most of the eVs out there, with a few exceptions.

I'm surprised how poor the Plug-in eV are, reliability wise. That I never expected.

I changed from a Mercedes S 550 to a BMW. Three months later I went back to a newer S550. BMW is not even close to Mercedes
I'll bite ... Cadillac. There are a number of fine Chevy et al. equivalents, and I don't like some of their infotainment differences. All other differences in Caddies can also be found Corvettes as well.

It's clear Europe thinks this as well. That's why GM finally 'took the shackles off,' and the Corvette brand is finally getting a SUV, after years of the argument that it would 'expense' Cadillac. That's been a heavy demand by Corvette owners, even racing fans, especially outside of the US, for a premier sports SUV with the Corvette badge. They've long wanted Corvette to be like Porsche in this regard, especially as GM has finally ended their 'factory controlled' racing team, and has let all privateers in on the Corvette, which is huge in Europe (just like GM crate engines).

But back to Cadillac v. Chevy et al. same applies to Lexus over Toyota too.
