Early live reports on Sky News and CNN reported at least 2 bombs exploded at Brussels International Airport...with at least 13 killed and scores injured.

Shortly thereafter, an explosion occurred at the Brussel's Subway Station in Maelbeek, the area of Brussel's where the recent terrorist wanted for the Paris bombings was just captured.

All subways, bus transportation and the airport are now shutdown in Brussels.

Latest report on CNN now says 10 were killed in subway attack...and death count from 2 bomb attacks at the airport still stands at 13.

Shit, I was just in that part of the Brussels airport 2 weeks ago flying home on DL 81. I remember passing the soldiers with their FNC rifles and thinking that they must know something is going to hit them one way or another. F*cking surreal.

What's amazing is that Belgium has all of these terrorists and they all live in this little circle in Maelenbeek. It's basically a Jihadist community. And yet the security forces can't figure out how to identify these people.

Open borders FTW

I'm told the left media is blaming intolerance. The bizarro world we live in. Also the native american line is as funny as racism. Facts don't work throw out the native american & racist cards.

I know you don't bother to understand context or differences in the world, but Trump's little fascist proposed ban is nothing like what's going on in Europe. Guys can easily leave the EU, get into Syria, receive training and radicalization, and easily return to within the Shengen Zone (EU Zone). Once in, it's 100% free movement across borders. It's also, obviously, much easier to smuggle material on land vs. having to bring it in via the air to the US.

A local Muslim going into Syria and coming back is nothing like a Muslim from Montreal wanting to visit the US for business. Yet he'd be banned by the dickshit Trump.

And your histericle rant about what Trump said was very embellished. You know what was said but spun it such that he wanted to ban all Muslims all the time. It's no different than Europe, until you identify who and what is attacking you, you control the flow. It's that easy.

Up to 26 confirmed dead and rising.

But hey, the obama's are enjoying their spring break in Cuba.

What the **** does this have to do with Obama in Cuba??

This is going to get worse for Europe before it gets better. I think Europe's leaders understood this when they opened their borders, but calculated that the number of innocent Europen lives lost would be less than the number of innocent Syrian lives saved.

Tough calculation that nobody really wants to think about, but it's a nasty world we live in. Takes a certain level of detachment to be in those positions.

No it's not a tough calculation. The leaders of those countries are elected by the citizens of their country.

And the citizens of these countries take a more global view of the world and do not place more value on the lives of people within their borders than people outside of their borders.
Tell me how that works out in the next election cycle of each of those countries. Start with France recently. You clearly are not mentally equipped to debate most of us on this board.

The French will weigh other domestic issues besides terrorism in the next election . Unlike Americans, they won't knee-jerk on tragic events and elect a monkey with poor judgement based solely on their fears (and yes, another terrorist attack on our soil would cement a Donald Trump presidency, the worst possible reaction we could have, thanks to people who think like you do)

If Hollande doesn't get abother term, it will be mostly for economic reasons and not security reasons.
