Mundo Ranks us last in Big 12

good for him. He is just a fan with a podcast.
In BB conf play finished 14th ahead of AZ, and Colorado, overall win loss after postseason finished 11th of 16.
FB only ahead of Ok state, tied with 2 others for 13 thru 15. equal record with 2. FB hurt us this year. I would argue OK state was #16.
But his point stands that we were not very good.

We're definitely bottom quarter at best. But we've been operating on a reduced share, and in general we don't have the same established fanbase/alumni that is in large donation age like the other established state schools to instantly compete in NIL era. Nor do we have coaches that perform at or above their pay level cough cough.

We without a doubt rank near the bottom. I don't see that changing anytime soon. We are way behind the curve $$ wise, and that isn't changing anytime soon.
I have to agree with goodknightfl. You'd LIKE to think it wasn't all about money---but sadly, it's all about the Benjamins.

When you look at the annual revenues of Big XII schools, there's a staggering discrepancy between the have's and the have not's. You've got KU, ISU, and WVU at over 80 million. Then there's ASU, AU, TT, Utah, KSU, and Okie State at over 70 million. Everybody else is well over 40 million.

The exceptions are UCF at 26 and Houston at 22.

What do you think that'll do to recruiting when schools kick off revenue sharing later this year??!? Kansas would be distributing nearly $20 million to its players vs UCF's 5.7. People keep blasting the SEC and B1G for trying to take over CFB. But when you're the richest, it's already baked into the cake.

You probably will not see any smaller, low budget schools, advance in the Tourney...just like this year. It's become "buying the talent"
