N Korea now has an ICMB compatible nuclear warhead

No bro. Ninja is always right; nothing he says can ever be refuted.

Already proved you wrong on that one by actually admitting when I was wrong and exaggerated. You do know it's not a competition to see how much flat out wrong bull shit you can spew on here?

Since everyone here is evidently too stupid to figure this out on their own, or even to read one of the million different articles on it, I'll explain it in hopefully simple enough terms for you:

Norks survive off blood money, threatening to do bad stuff, they get money not to do bad stuff.
Norks develop tech to do more bad stuff, seeing the trend of getting money to not do bad stuff.
Norks make ridiculous threats, hoping to get more money to not do bad stuff.
Idiots pee their pants and think norks are actually going to nuke us
Trump thinks its a middle school fight and wants to show off his false bravado by sending out (what he thinks are) badass tweets to assuage idiots

tl;dr: The norks aren't going to nuke us, because if they did, they would lose everything. Even someone as idiotic as their leader knows this. He knows he would be turned into radioactive glass in aprox 6 minutes after we detect his ICBMs going off. This is painfully obvious.

Since you're so busy lecturing to everyone, I would have thought you'd stop to think about what you're actually posting. You did not.

The problem here is not IF the baby ruler is going to start hurling nukes at us in the near future. He won't. We know that, and don't need lunatics having to "explain" this like you've poorly attempted.

The problem is that this is a rogue hermit nation that actively carries out a modern day holocaust, run by an absolute madman dictator, whose entire ethos and culture is derived from one principle: self reliance and hatred for the US. In other words, there is absolutely no way in hell that a country like this can be allowed to possess the CAPABILITY to lob nuclear missiles into our backyard.

Thanks for admitting I'm right, as long as he won't then there isn't shit that needs to be done, and little bed wetting pussies on here can stop being scared that we are going to get nuked tomorrow, which was the point of my post.

I do love the fact that you think gun free zones don't work, but nuke free zones will. This technology is only going to become easier to possess, and one day in the not so far future anyone with $50 and an Amazon subscription will be able to 3D print a nuke. That is a million times more worrisome than a known country with defined boundaries owning one.

He equated gun free zones to nuke free zones. Folks, he's jumped the shark

I don't know why I tried, from our previous interactions it's obvious to everyone you are incapable of grasping anything not drawn out with crayons and elmers glue.

Just like every other argument where you get embarrassed, you switch the topic. Next come the insults. Good times with snowflake85, the predictable puppet.

What's the end game? Keep "paying" them as they continue saber rattling and developing increasingly more complex weapon systems? Of course I don't think they will launch the nuke but that doesn't mean you keep doing the same thing.

To be honest, it's gone too far already. It's a hostage situation, with Seoul being the hostage. They've gone from holding a knife to an AR-15. With this progression they've become a danger to more than Seoul and the circumstances for Seoul has only gotten worse. At a certain point, a hard line must be taken. Of course it endangers Seoul but if left unchecked it will endanger the whole region.

The guy who thinks carrying a pistol is similar to a rogue regime obtaining a nuclear ICBM is insisting I'm embarrassed?

lulzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Guess you're stuck on step 3: switch the topic. That's OK, we all know you are a little slow, you'll get to step 4 in your own time.

Back on topic: You are exactly right, it is a hostage situation, and since we already broke Rule #1 with hostage situations: don't give in to demands. So kind of in unchartered territories here. CIA probably wants to go in and take out Little Kim and overthrow the regime, and China doesn't seem to be too buddy buddy with him anymore so that may be an option, just have to figure out what to do with the millions of illiterate refugees that will be flooding North to china and south to Seoul.

I do think an assassination type event is the "least death" scenario but there's a chance you make him a martyr and they rally around it. It needs to be coup for it to work successfully but I wonder how many anti-Jong Un supporters are in high level government positions. He's notorious for killing anyone who opposes him.

China stepping up and cutting off ties with North Korea is a huge step and could be the difference maker. I just don't know whether Jong Un is going to feel backed into corner and ends up pulling the trigger anyways because he knows it's over.

A lot of potential paths to take and none of them are without risk.

Looks like it's not going to be a nuclear Armageddon type of day after all. What a surprise.

Bravo to our Administration for drawing the line in the sand.

"[On] Monday, U.S. Defense Secretary James Mattis said if North Korean missiles were considered a threat to Guam, then, 'It's game on.' Others in the Trump administration, like Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, continue to try and push a diplomatic solution to the current nuclear issue."

lol at anyone who thinks this will start ww3 or a nuclear armageddon. a war with north korea would be very short and decisive.

without a doubt we came super close to not existing anymore. I dont think a fight with NK would be anywhere close to that.
Agree. One question the nuclear powers would ask throughout that time period (and probably even today), "Is it worth the lives of millions?". The answer was always no. I think that logic still applies today although the scale is significantly larger (100s of millions).

Lol yeah I'm sure it was all Trump's badass tweets saving the day. Had nothing to do with us having the most technologicaly advanced military poised to jump down their throat the moment they make one wrong move.

What did teddy say "speak softly and carry a big stick"? I'm sure "tweet like a deranged high school bully" was what he really meant.

I'm sorry it saddens you to see America confronting a nuclear bully who threatened our territory and forcing them to stand down.

Rooting against America must be a depressing role to fill.

You do know that making up stuff that has absolutely no basis in reality doesn't help your case for legitimacy.

Says the person who paraphrases stuff from the US Media that quickly gets disproven.

Seriously now Ninja, that's not just 85's viewpoint. That was the viewpoint of the Clinton administration by '99, all nations of the 6 party talks by '06, etc... If you're going to be anti-Trump, please don't look ignorant of pre-Trump.

North Korea wants appeasement in the form of funds and goods. Even South Korea, let alone Japan, is done with giving into that. And this is what gets to me, whether it's Conservatives when Obama was in or now Progressives that Trump is in.

Don't excuse what North Korea is doing to us. Period. Don't use it for political leverage. Bill Clinton lost all of my respect when he publicly criticized W. on North Korea. He knew what they were up to by 1999 during his own administration.

Every single country in the 6 party talks agreed it should have never been a 2 party agreement in the first place. In Clinton's defense, it was Carter's agreement, without his sanction. But for Bill to blame W. is just non-sense.
