Name one thing your kid(s) have to like or you will disown them

Jets would look good in a Miata.
At least until we find an overpriced Alfa with no American parts that will be very costly to repair.

That said, and in all seriousness, I'm trying to find a GM-Mazda dealer (don't mind driving out of state) that will take my '09 Z51 Coupe in trade for a pre-order of the brand new, '16 Miata. My wife has wanted one for a long time, and most GM dealers haven't been giving jack for a C6 trades. I'd rather just buy a '17 Z51 or Z06 Coupe straight up, no trade, hence the thought of trading it for a '16 Miata instead. Would save $2K on sales tax. Long term (in the '20s), the Miata makes a cheap'agile SCCA tuner too.

My wife can give Jets a test drive when she gets it. ;)

I'm genetically unfit to have children, but if I happen to not be in the next life, kid has to be a master of logic and reason. None of that religious bullshit in my house.

Most children get their values from their parents, including how their parents act, not just what they say or teach them. That's why a lot of offspring of right-wingers tend to be quite the handfuls. They saw their parents being hypocritical, and it sticks.

Same deal with politicians, especially on the right. A great example of this was the incoming, 1994 Republican Congress. They had infidelity and divorce rates no different than any other Congressmen and women. One of the reasons I'm very much against institutionalized religion ... and most other things institutionalized in general, if not based on science (including things from the left too).

Some things are just meant to be.

Yes, children of liberal parents are never a problem.

Oh, far from it! I've known tremendously irresponsible, liberal parents. I'm just saying that there are a lot of right-wingers who are just as bad, meaning "do as I say" doesn't work. As I highlighted, the 1994 incoming class of Republicans to Congress showed they are no different, statistically.

At the same time, being a liberal is quite institutionalized in our education system and media now, but the system itself is in total denial. The best argument I've heard lately is that it's not intentional -- yes, it's not intentional. But we've just reached the point where there is an ultra-majority (>90%) in both education and media that vote over 90% Democrat. So given that level of preference, anytime 1 person says they have a "conflict of interest" or a "subjective viewpoint," there are at least 9 other people that say the 1 person is wrong. It explains a lot.

Especially why people in the media and politics on the left aren't forward on their sheer conflicts-of-interests, disclosures that would go a long way to preventing others from making accusations that wouldn't stick.

Not planning on kids, but if I have one and they want to attend usf, they better plan on getting a scholarship. Not gonna pay for my kids to attend that u.
