The money wasn't going to the people who needed it, why the rush? At the end of the day $450M got passed instead of $250M.

So you're saying that Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats held this bill up to "fix" PPP?
Or did they hold it up because they wanted to fund their other pet priorities that easily could have been addressed in a separate bill - that was already planned for by the Senate anyways?
Had to hold up funding so they could allocate 100 million bucks to give to ivy league schools that have over 100 billion in the bank.

Those "pet priorities" were funding hospitals, state governments (Cuomo has been complaining about this for weeks) and SNAP (have you seen the lines at the food pantries). They also got more money (from $250B to $450B) for PPP with carve outs for the unbanked and specifics for small businesses to make it easier for them to get the loan.

All of which was already planned for in the next bill. When Pelosi was holding up PPP and letting companies die, the first lot of allocated money hadn't even gone out to hospitals yet. How then were they sure what they did or didn't need in the next go?
PS- good to see she took care of those needy institutions like Harvard who got $10M despite having a $40B endowment.

Just admit it - she's a total dipshit who probably put tons of businesses out in the 1+ week that she purposely stalled funding our small businesses. And during that week of not funding PPP, she went on late night to show off her lavishly expensive kitchen and pints of ice cream like said dipshit.
Last I checked, a bill is approved by both houses of Congress and signed by the President before it becomes law. Normally (at least it was before the Trump Admin), if proposed legislation impacts an area that the responsibility of one of department secretaries (i.e. Education, Treasury, etc.), an impact paper is prepared for the Senate/House leaders' consideration.
Clearly, this was a HUGE LOOPHOLE that escaped the attention a lot of people in government. Seems to me Betsy Devos ultimately had the responsibility of making her boss aware of it before he signed off on the bill.

Oh thanks for making my other point. The PPP money from the first bill had not been disbursed to businesses so she didn't put anybody under.
Let me also add that knowingly spreading this type of propaganda on facebook, twitter other social media platforms and forums like this is exactly what the creators of this propaganda want you to do because if they do it themselves it looks fake.

Nancy Pelosi’s hate for Donald Trump is doing this country a great disservice. It’s actually hurting America. Most of the time, Trump is just trying to defend herself. He has that right. I’ve never seen this kind of hatred displayed. Ripping up a speech? Come on.

Americans need to know the truth and reminded of the the correct timeline of the event of this pandemic. My tax bracket won’t change because of those 15 minutes, but I appreciate your concern
