... nothing to see as its not really his laptop/ its a Russian hoax/ its all a farce to make the Dems look bad ...
Here's the thing ...
The Democrats didn't allegedly
'look bad' because of the existence of the laptop.
The Democrats actually
'look really bad' because, for 2 years, not only were they able to censor and downplay it, but ... got over 50 intelligence officials and the entire media and Big Tech industry to prevent any reporting of it as best as they could ...
using government funds and agencies.
As I always say about Nixon with Watergate ... at least he used his own people.
Just like the FISA Courts in 2015-2016 ... this is using taxpayer institutions. We literally have a federal government ordering privacy entities to censor, disavow and prevent any discussion.
And that's the problem!
People actually condone this!
Same thing with people wanting the government to take away Musk's wealth, and say SpaceX was subsidized by the government and that the taxpayer owns everything he created, or that his technologies are gimmicks. If you knew anything about the United Launch Alliance (ULA), let alone NASA, you would literally
It's
cheering on a big, authoritarian, controlling federal government, and kicking someone who is a private citizen. I never liked Trump, but it started with Trump, and now it's getting 10x worse with Musk. I've never seen people be pro-powerful government, pro-oligarchy, anti-innovation, anti-entrepreneur. Say what you want about Trump, but Musk ... that's getting old!
Pelosi lost me years ago the second she stated the US federal goverment was behind a lot of private innovations with little to no taxpayer moeny involved, incluidng the Internet outside of the NSF's control too. It's like she was saying the federal government is the innovator and end-all, be-all, and that
only the oligarchy she funds is viable in the US.
To me ... that's just ****ed up. And the proof is in how Musk is being treated regarding SpaceX, before we even get to Twitter.
This is why
'going green' is so ****ed, just like California fire fighting has been. Greenwashing is everywhere. Same with downplaying private, non-Big Tech R&D, manufacturing innovation and other things.
