Unlike most of you...I've been a UCF Fan...a fan that support Coach McDowell, Coach K, Coach Gooch, Coach Huxtable and then Coach GOL...and unlike you...I will support the next guy...the guy after that...then maybe the girl who follows that guy...then maybe another guy and so on.
Same reason why I supported UCF Hoops during Coach Carter's era...and others to this day.
Same reason why I supported Coach Bergman...and now Rooney.
All because, unlike you, I am a UCF Fan...and always will be.

Except for 2012 your argument isnt really true. We bring in close or over half of our recruits by this date and that was Poolside Knights concern. There is only five listed.

I see you don't understand the definition of "generally the best" (something Brandon even verified in a Dungeon thread just last week), as you jumped to conclusion to mean "quantity".

Here's the entire context just in case you forget. You kept pointing out our most recruiting (and best) comes late.
I just pointed out where you were not necessarily correct and gave you proof.
Here's more proof. Early recruiting in 2010 landed 10 recruits primarily three stars with two stars scattered in between with avg Rivals rating of 5.3 to 5.6. Same with 2011(14), 2013(14), 2014 (11)and 2015 (9). I'll give you that we get a 4 star here and there late, but Rivals ratings separation between early and late signees isnt that much and most of the time its the same. So your exit strategy argument to Poolside Knight's ranking concern is not necessarily true.
I didnt ignore that we had small amount of recruits at this time in 2012, but since you want to add quality to the conversation, this year also proved that according to stars and ratings there is no difference between early and late signees.
Which brings us back to Poolside Knights concern. We're ranked 104th right now with 5 recruits. If you take your GOL and Dungeon goggles off you'll see that when we can't commit recruits early, history (2012) proves that were not going to have a good signing class.

I'm still confused on what you want.
You (and others) want the entire coaching staff fired (long time ago) yet you want HS players to commit to this program, a team that you have no idea what next year's coaching staff will look like and/or style of play that they will prefer.
So are you knocking a coaching staff that you think should have been fired a long time ago for not being able to bring in some recruits during this time?
Or are you knocking recruits for not committing to a program that they have no idea on what it will look like in a matter of a month or two?
I'll share something else that Brandon noted (after his own analysis) is that in a majority of past recruiting classes, the earliest verbals have a much higher tendency to wash out compared to those that commit in Dec/Jan/signing day Feb.
I've already stated that if a new coaching staff comes in during Dec or Jan...while the Feb 2016 class, like most years, will finish strong, the biggest impact they will probably have will be on the Feb 2017 class.
This recruiting class is done. There is no point in the coaches staying around.
Ok...then why are certain posters whining about it? (I think we both know the answer to that).
Because they don't want the 2017 class ruined. Time to cut our losses.
