I just realized that I ran into their head coach on the elevator.
I thought he was just a fan (and since he had on a Navy shirt) and I said, “I bet you’re going to the game tomorrow.” He told me the team was staying there when I asked if he was with a group of fans. Then I noticed he looked a lot like their head coach Ken Niumatalolo. Three players then got on the elevator as we were getting off. I told them I was UCF’s QB, and that they would have no problems tomorrow. They laughed at my lame joke and as we walked to our room I realized that the guy who looked like the coach actually was their coach.
