Nebraska fires Scott Frost 🌽 🥃🤺

I think Scott Frost will be just fine. The only schools I do not want to see him at are: USF, Florida, Miami, and FSU.

Anyone know if Beckton will be coming home? He left with Frost because he did not like his first impression with Heupel. Rumors had Becton at wanting the title of OC and Recruiting Coordinator if he were to stay and Heupel was blunt and said he didn't need him. So he called Frost and moved to Nebraska after the Peach Bowl.

How much of the success Frost had at UCF was his coaching rather than Milton’s freakish talent? I watched a lot of your games and felt Milton was a once in a generation talent at QB. Not only in terms of his athletic ability but also his leadership. That kid was amazing to watch. Curious if you all think Frost and Co wouldve gone unbeaten without Milton. I think Milton was the reason Frost got paid.
I think he deserves more credit than that but I am in the minority

but even if many believe this Frost recruited Milton when he didn’t have much interest. That decision likely led to UCF getting the Big 12 invite bc we are still riding the coattails of that run that gave our Program attention

We definitely don’t go undefeated with any other QB willing to come here at time. If he doesn’t get hurt we go undefeated twice. Its hard to get great QBs back to back. Although decent isn’t much to ask and he didn’t even get that at Nebraska.

It almost sounds like the AD is saying he wants TWill in his press conference about who they are looking for next.

Morale was pretty high when he was hired after the 0-12 season.*
If anything he took over a team at rock bottom, completely humbled. Hard to have a big ego when you are coming from winless. 2017 team came together and played as a team. I don’t remember individual drama like we have had 2018 til now.

Good point. No, we don’t go undefeated without Milton, but Frost did recruit well in finding underrated players like Otis Anderson and others.

Frost’s biggest downfall may have been his inability to find a really good QB. at Nebraska. We’ve been fortunate to have several recent quality QBs in Bortles, Milton and Gabriel.

Our fans are spoiled and think QBs like we’ve had are easy to find. Tough to win without a good passing QB.

Does Malzahn's success particularly the ones from 10 years ago at Auburn have more value than the success Frost had at UCF?

Until Malzahn delivers on the field, all he has done has recruited well. Which could be said for many P5 programs that are filled with 4 and 5 stars but have little to no hardware.
Malzahn's successes have more value than the "success" Frost had at Nebraska.

LOL

Market moves in favor of Nebraska
On Sunday morning, Nebraska opened as a 14.5-point underdog at home against Oklahoma. A few hours later, it was announced that the Cornhuskers had fired Scott Frost. Over the past few days, the spread has moved in favor of Nebraska. Nebraska is now just an 11.5-point underdog in Lincoln.

Lol Nebraska media could have just read between the lines of my Bar Louie posts*

we have never had a coach that was tagged with very hot sorority girls as much as Scott and a
few others on the staff. It was a Bro Coaching staff but he had an entertaining offense and ran the table here.

Sean Payton was one of the best offensive minds in the NFL and he was a known drunk in New Orleans.

You just could almost not even think that SF would fail this badly at Neb. Goes to show you that anything can happen and that's why sports are so interesting....especially American Football!
