Fueled and frustrated: Nebraska faces criticism, crossroads in 2022
The criticism is loud and it is clear, even in the classrooms at Nebraska. The time to win is now, and if not, another coaching tenure will end in 2022.

Consider this: a University of Nebraska professor posed a "trivia question" in class, which included 10 football players, on how many incomplete passes Adrian Martinez would need to throw "until he gets cut" from the team, said Nebraska linebacker Garrett Nelson. Martinez, who has since transferred to Kansas State, was in that class, Nelson said.
"The college experience that I was hoping to have has obviously not panned out," Nelson told 247Sports this week at Big Ten Media Days.
The professor also quizzed students and players how many more yards the Huskers' defense could give up "before everybody gets fired."
And what about the time Nelson, on his day off, decided to nap at home and upon this revelation a neighbor remarked, "That's probably why you can't win games."
