If this choice ends up to be a major letdown that was made to save money, we’ll never accomplish crap with Terry as AD. We’re finally in the P4 with an opening at HC and we’re not aiming as high as possible? Please greatly suprise me, Terry! No more retreads or unproven G5 coaches.
Agree on no retreads but every other choice is a risk . The Coaching market is not as clear as it was a few years ago or when we hired Frost
UNC, UCF doesn’t have much money . He’s not staying at Tulane…he has one bad and year and the opportunity is gone.
Everyone that’s an insider said they’ve known for a couple weeks. I don’t get why they don’t say it. If you want people to pay you for info, give a reason. Not say, oh I knew this weeks ago.
Because they have no idea.....like the guy who considered himself an insider because he attended a few practices 15 years ago. They don't come out with it so they won't be exposed as fools.
I sort of disagree. I actually think Sean Beckton needs to stay and possibly Hinshaw as a QB coach.
Was Beckton on the staff? What was his job description? Hinshaw did nothing to develop any QBs in the past 2 years.
Im leaving the internet for a couple hours this Monday morning. Going mountain biking in the woods. When I return i expect a new coach announced.

Gus Malzahn is a good coach and good coaches come from middle class families. Gus is a man and he knows how to coach. Coaching is a job where you coach kids and sometimes coaches do good things. I like Venn diagrams and if you look at a Venn Diagram you will see where the circles intersect and that place is good place to be. Gus Malzahn is where the circles intersect. UCF needs to be unburdened from what was to be burdened by what can be.

I’m not on this board very often but I used to read your posts when I was on the paid board. Don’t you have properties in the NC mountains? If so, how did you make out from the flooding?

Thanks for asking. Our vacation rentals came out with flying colors. Our chocolate stores were also undamaged. The real damage was economic. Our sales took a huge hit . We were down 54% in October in our stores and in our rentals we lost half of our October bookings too. The flooding in Dillsboro came up to our building but not in it. Again, I appreciate you thinking of us.
