Its not about stupidity, its all about hypocrisy. Trump has never told everyone they should wear masks, and then doesn't wear one himself. Stupid? Maybe. Hypocritical? Nope. Meanwhile we have Fauci, whitmer, Newsom, etc putting out rules for everyone but not following those rules themselves. Stupidity is nowhere near as bad as hypocrisy.

One day it's "its your patriotic duty to wear masks", the next day it's "you can wear one but I won't," and on to making fun of Joe Biden for wearing one and holding massive 'super-spreader' events leading up to the election.
