Dementia Man, the only sad thing is when they can prop him up anymore, and that time is coming soon, We get even a worse situation.

Probably the strongest argument for the 2nd amendment. The fact he is bringing up we have more weapons is the exact reason for every American to have guns.
Hilter doesn't gain control over multiple countries without gun control in those countries.
How well did it work for us in Afghanistan, Iraq and Vietnam?
I swear this was the worst argument to ever make.
I expect the ignorant to make it, but not POTUS who is supposed to defend civil rights.

And everyone wonders why I refused to vote Hillary, Trump or Biden?!

The 2nd amendment is the only thing standing in the way of the right actively using the power of government to advance our goals. Confiscate the guns and we can craft society into the model that it should be.

Guns won't be enough to disrupt government, but 250 unarmed citizens on Jan 6 is another story.

That was clearly an insurrection. Just like the protestors storming Cavanaugh hearing or when the Senate was bombed in the 80s,but January 6 will be a day that will live in infamy.

Anyone breaking laws and taking stuff should be arrested . That's not peaceful protesting.

Biden is right ,I think he was alluding to the colluding of the media, big tech and the Democrat party . That trifecta would make Joseph Goebbels proud in the amount of propaganda they turn out daily .

I don't want to overthrow the government. I just want government to do its job and ensure liberty for all and frankly just leave me alone. You know, the thing where it says all men and stuff are created equal in the thing...come on man , poor kids are just as bright as white kids.

We're in the middle of the most effective propaganda era since Wilson was President; more effective actually. The "Blue Switch" myth that they're peddling is actually laughable but it very well may work and people will believe that it's actually Republicans that are trying to defund police.

Remind me. How many Republicans voted on the funding bill that just gave $300+ million to police departments?

One bill not voted on because of totally different issues is a drop in the bucket when major Democrat-run cities are cutting far more than that yearly. You’re buying a myth. Oh and to make matters worse, the bill the Republicans voted against was new funding; the Dems are cutting existing funding and reducing size, training, benefits, etc.

How many cities are cutting funding? The top two finishers in the NYC mayoral race did not run on the defund platform. Stop creating fake boogeymen.

A couple of politicians did not run on defund in NYC and you think that's evidence that it's not happening?

According to Forbes, by August 2020 at least 13 cities had defunded or were in the process of defunding police, including:

New York City, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Portland, Oregon, Hartford, Connecticut, Norman Oklahoma, and Austin, Texas

Police funding cuts ranged from $1 billion in New York City to $3.5 million in Seattle and $850,000 in smaller cities.

Which of those cities actually cut funding? How many of those that cut funding are putting the cut funds in alternative policing methods?

I understand reactionary conservatism needs a boogeyman to drive your voters to the polls, but this is pathetic.

B…b…but Dems said, “Defund the police!”

Dig a little deeper and come with something more than the Administration’s spin person to try to gaslight everyone into rewriting history.
When you arrive at the NAPO’s report, realize that it considered a bunch of things that had nothing to do with law enforcement, like the social security fairness act, the SALT deductibility act and so on.

Then again, that anyone would actually buy this ridiculousness to the point that they’d propagate it is chilling. When Democrats can rewrite history in real-time and in broad daylight with the help of a very compliant media, this country is doomed.

The President’s administration correctly telling Americans the fact that the President and Democrats gave cops more money is chilling, but the Capitol insurrection folks are very fine people. OK, pal.

Oooooh, so a pro-police scorecard from the National Association of Police Officers is bogus?

Let's see....
  • Ilhan Omar (D), Rashida Tlaib (D) and Ayanna Pressley (D) all scored 86 percent?
  • Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D) scored 71%?
  • And -- WTF? -- their critics, McCarthy (R), Stefanik (R), and Banks (R) all scored 57 percent?

Yeah, we all know how those 'liberal' organizations like to spin things, right sk8? :)

  • Trump says that he had nothing to do with the Capitol Riots that took place on Jan. 6th. Crazy's take? 👍
  • Biden points to the National Association of Police Officers' own Pro-Police scorecard rankings. Crazy's take? 😲 CHILLING!!!

3 months ago, Pressley, Tlaib, and Omar all publicly called for the abolishing of our police. You think that those rankings aren't someone trying to gaslight you?

Who's gaslighting who?

The rankings came from the National Association of Police Officers, not the Biden Administration.

Right. A union paying its dues to the Democrat’s cause. I find it funny that you still tried to use it after I told why it was hogwash.

The fact you had to spin the rankings speaks volumes.
If you’re going to accuse me of spinning , the please tell me what the components of the rankings that I mentioned had to do with police support.

I mean, I can come out with a college football poll showing Nebraska in first based on Nebraskans love of beer cheese soup but it would be relevant either.

Simply put:
  1. The rankings come from the National Association of Police Officers (NAPO)
  2. The NAPO is a coalition of police unions and associations from across the United States and was organized for the purpose of advancing the interests of America’s law enforcement officers through legislative advocacy, political action and education.

Since you're not spinning, maybe you can explain why in the world the NAPO would include components that do not support police. Seems odd, don't you think?

Sure does. Why do the police give high ratings to people that have publicly stated they want to abolish them? Even Nancy Pelosi took exception to these highly rated congresswomen for their position.

Hmmm...maybe, just maybe the NAPO ratings are based on actual voting versus BS red-wing hyperbole.

You didn’t answer the question.

You didn’t answer the question.
Ha, nice dodge. Yeah, I have to explain to YOU what constitutes a 'supportive' police vote as far as the National Association of Police Officers is concerned.

For the sake of the uninitiated here, I suppose I should point out that the NAPO endorsed Donald Trump for reelection last year. Not only that, but the NAPO President addressed the Republican National Convention and was at the WH to witness Trump accept his party's nomination for President.

Just another one of the 'liberal' unions, right sk8? :)

Trump

PERFECT comeback when you can't explain away Rashida Tlaib's pro-police rating from the NAPO. :)
In my experience, Democrats like to tout how much smarter and more well educated they are than the rest of us. Truly elite in every intellectual measure.

I guess Shuckster should really be a Republican.

Shuckster is pretty well educated. It's ironic that he doesn't realize that it makes him one of the biggest racists on this board

It never fails. When the posters I'm debating cannot come up with a response -- in this case, being unable to explain away why their 'anti-cops villains' have a pro-police voting ratings with the NAPO -- they resort to what we see here.

I guess juvenile name calling is preferable to saying, "Well I'll be damned, Shuck, I guess you were right on this one."

I'm totally cool with taking the presley/Tlaib/Omar approach to policing. I'll bet you can't say the same thing.

chuds gotta chud
Now THAT I will wholeheartedly agree with.

Maskless Chuds are gonna Chud.
LMFAO. This chud is evidently too stupid
Chud nonsense. You have no answer.
What a Chud response.

as you can see, i don't call you retarded as an insult. its just my duty to "follow the science"

Biden also said it would take a nuclear event ( I am paraphrasing him) to over throw the government. Yet, on January 6,2021 a bunch of unarmed suburbanites walking through the halls of Congress with a clown stealing Pelosi lap top or lecturn is an insurection needing a commission. The double speak and hyperbole out these people is glaring.

I’m not defending any anti-police rhetoric. I’m just pointing out that Twitter rants aren’t the same as one’s voting record.
