The same argument was made 40 years ago about tobacco. "Sure, smelly would be better off not smoking but that's his choice". Sure enough, with increased awareness of the risks and consequences, tobacco use in the U.S. has plummeted and addictions have been broken.
We're now repeating history, with assholes selling addictive products with tremendous heath consequences to the uninformed. We see the same type off assholes lobbying congress to prevent even basic information from being shared (like showing a recommended daily percentage of sugar intake on nutrition labels), and the same type of assholes blaming those that have ignorantly became addicted.
If a real effort were made to show people exactly how much added sugar they're consuming in everyday products (not just soda), how addictive that sugar is and the long term consequences of its use, people would back off.
You guys are 6 feet deep in your own bullshit so no use crazy Ole hippy EE posting about it anymore. Wallow in your own BS as long as you'd like.
