OFFENSIVE LINE, let's talk....................

Unless gus is hiding a few things, seemed like QB protection was so so. Opening up the middle lane?????? where was it besides the wild knight play? THOUGHTS?

The Oline really didn't get any push in the first quarter, nearly the whole first half. The blocking on the perimeter by the receivers (despite all the talk about playing well without the ball) was just as bad. In the first quarter, UCF tried run outside with quick tosses, but the receivers couldn't control their blocks.

The end result was good though.

Another positive note, UCF lost only 5 yards rushing. So even though the Knights didn't always get a lot of push, they did get a hat on a hat. And apparently, on the right hats.

We definitely had success with speed running a sweep or outside.

Remember, I know they're D-1, but it was Kent State. Maybe Kent State's offensive and defensive lines are better than I thought or their record shows (MAC team)

Jordan is Bowser, but faster, more powerful and more agile. Last years Bowser was, ehhhh a crutch and major disappointment. He was only effective in the wild bowser, otherwise he crushed momentum.
