Well, at least that will give us a higher pick in next years draft.
I get the negativity, but to act like Stanford is a crap team because they got beat by Northwestern is silly.
LOL, Stanford did everything they could to hand us the game. What did they have, 300 yards in penalties?

I honestly think he's playing hurt. I mean, we're already at the 3rd level with our depth chart with Tim. So his relief has to be a sub-100% Will.
GoL is turning this game into an experience game for the kids. He's making them grind it out, trying to give the defense some rest. They need it.
That's really what happened with FIU. Lack of offensive production made the D tired. Our D is really good, but they cannot go so long on the field.

He and GOL have been buddies for like 10 years...he played for GOL at GA tech...
Nice to know our fanbase expects freshmen to come out and be awesome in their very first, and quite unexpected, game 1. Sigh ...
I think he does but this is his first real game experience, you were expecting a different result?
The fire GoL slogans have already started, instead of people recognizing the realities here. If you just want an innovative Coach and OC that throws it up and keeps some games close, while losing by 40 to others, then let's just bring back Coach K and be done with it.
GoL is making do what he can. He's having the freshman play this like it is a practice. That's actually a very good strategy, let them learn in a difficult situation.
Optimistically, yes I was. At least a few power plays not just a few 'Oh, that was a good pass.' throws.
BYU just won over Boise after losing hard last year...yet UCF made horrible decisions off-season and this is what we are left with while in the spotlight.
That is wholly unfair to our lettermen! I mean, even if we were a P5 team, that is still way too unrealistic!
It's not that the second string QB doesn't expect to play. It's that you have the expectation of him to be good, thrown to the wolves, in his first game, as a true freshman! Again, we could be P5 and that's just wholly unrealistic.
Please go away if you're going to have these types of attitudes. Our student-athletes do not deserve that unrealistic BS! Saw the same crap thrown at Bortles at times too.
So are you going to keep comparing opposite ends of the spectrum in your examples?
Saying fans that have wanted GOL out for years are now are somehow proponents for a showboat coach which doesn't perform is bullshit.
The program needs a change and your rooting for mediocrity doesn't do anything for that.
