O'Leary " We need better and faster players"

only 4 commitments so far when this is the first class in five years that can sign 25. Recruits are avoiding GOL, a new coach will have a lot of work to do

A new coach could flip the switch immediately if he were hired in late November.

Calabrese, Troy Green

I'll take the numbers chances in Florida and Georgia

Mean like FLA QB's Neasman, Thompson, Williams, Flores, Weatherford, Dinovo, etc...that GOL has signed from the State of FLA (or even a local walk-on like Nick Patti...who a lot of UCF fans wanted UCF to get right out of HS).

I have never cared what zip code players come from...but its funny to read those that obviously don't follow recruiting that closely just ignore ALL the FLA players that UCF signed that never really made it.

How can that be? They are from FLA...they are automatically great, right?

Commitments of players from Orange, Seminole or Osceola county (2+ million people) since 2012 (5 classes): Drico Johnson. Chris Davis.

Sit down.

I won't disagree but the injuries and youth we've had to endure this year are pretty tough. I still think we should be able to do better than 0-6.

I've been a GOL fan, but I think at this point it's time for someone else to take over. I don't think GOL should be starting a rebuild before walking out the door.
We might as well have a whole new staff at this point. GOL won't change and everyone knows it. This is just a foolish game keeping him. We don't have the time or tolerance to let him experiment over the next few years. Stop with the excuses, stop with the "rebuilding year" crap....we need changes now. I know injuries and graduation has killed us but why stay the same course with GOL?? Unless he fires everyone except Beckton, nothing will change.

Bringing sports like men's track and field and men's cross country back to UCF would be great, in my opinion, but in many cases across the country, you'd have to get rid of Title IX to make that happen. I'm not optimistic about that happening any time soon.

What benefit (other than more costs) would UCF gain by bringing back Men's Cross Country?

Also, if UCF added a men's sport like Men's Cross Country, UCF might be forced to an another non-revenue women's sport to keep in the guidelines of Title IX.

The UCF rugby team should be elevated to varsity instead of club...they actually win games.

Bc Cross Country and Track cross over. It's dumb to just have 1 and not the other. USF, UF, FSU, & Miami all have Track where a few athletes on their Football teams participate

It's not that we are just losing. We are getting absolutely manhandled by bad teams. Crushed by UCONN and Tulane....hmmmm
