No, but she did claim to be Native American on her Harvard employment and was touted as their first "Woman of Color." I'm pretty sure 1/1024th does not constitute heritage for EEOC or any other special status. She also claimed that she was Cherokee when she sent in recipes copied from another cookbook to a Native American cookbook.
She's been claiming the heritage to her favor for years. It wasn't just saying that she has a drop in her ancestry.
I can't believe she would use her native American ancestors to fraudulently get credit for recipes that weren't hers published in a cookbook. She's power hungry and will stop at nothing to become a noted chef.
No, she only deliberately switched her race from "white" to "Native American" - TWICE - while working as a professor and wanting advancement.
Which she got - into Harvard - and then promptly changed her race back to white, once she got to where she needed to go.
In fact, this is a truly dumb play on her part. It calls further into question just how often she manipulated or outright lied about her "heritage".

She doesn’t have heritage. She has European American white person heritage. All of her traditions, values, and upbringing where white. She never participated in any tribal Native American anything. She only represented herself as Native American when she had something to gain from it. I can go on and on.
