"I think there were a lot of kids excited about UCF [before Frost arrived,] but I was told UCF wasn't really recruiting their backyard, and when I say backyard, I mean [the] South Florida and the Central Florida area," Mayfield said. "I heard they were recruiting different states. But now that they have a new staff and they're attacking Florida hard, a lot of guys are pumped up and excited and willing to help get the program back to where it's supposed to be."
