My wife and I are going to be in Chicago for a trade show in August and it happens to also be our anniversary. I'm hoping some of our Chicago Knights can help with suggestions. We've been to Chicago probably 25 times and have always had great meals, but we're looking to take it up a notch for the anniversary dinner. I'd like to try a Michelin star restaurant and are considering trying to get a reservation at Alinea. Money really isn't an issue for the right place and we don't drink so we can spend more on good food. I checked on Tripadvisor and it actually rates Miss Ricky's in the Virgin hotel as the top restaurant in the city. We would also love to find a great Omakase place as we both love sushi, or Italian as a fallback.
