OT: Chiefs are allowing fans to bring in cardboard to the game. Here is why

With temps hovering around 20 degrees and dropping, this is why fans can bring in cardboard to the game:

Thanks Mr Meteorologist as to why sitting on cardboard can help keep you warm vs sitting on cold seats.

It's because cardboard is made of air and wood, both bad conductors of heat. It's the same reason that these (thermo) cups that are vacuum sealed help keep your drinks colder and warmer longer.
