OT: Dogs - Flea and Tick Medicine

I'm now taking care of my brothers Jack Russel Terrier since he cannot care for him anymore. He's 8 years old. Trying to get some flea and tick medicine for him. Anyone have any advice on using Frontline vs Advantix vs Simparica?

Poor dog has been itching up a storm and need to pick something up today.
