Just spent 6 days in the hospital and the diagnosis was GBS. I had a bit of a stomach virus for a few days around Christmas and noticed a few days before that my chest and parts of my body were kinda numb. It started getting worse in my whole lower body starting at my lower back/butt, including my 🥜, to my toes were numb. I thought it was like maybe a pinched nerve or something like that, but everything thing being numb should have been a sign. I was able to walk but not that easily and didn’t lose a ton of strength, but it became very hard to move my toes while I was up north for a week and immediately went to the ER when I got home Saturday. Ran every test possible including 2 straight hours in an MRI, blood work, ultrasounds, etc and everything was negative, then had a spinal tap and that was enough data to give this diagnosis. They believe it was viral because there was no bacterial or spinal issues. It is also a side effect of vaccines (Doctor and nurse said they will never get a vaccine) but I haven’t had one since probably the fake fauci flu 2 jabs

I did 5 rounds of IVIG treatments. Doctor said my timing was perfect, coming in too early they might not have thought it was this, wait too long and the ascending paralysis I may not me able to walk or use my arms…and it is deadly when it gets into your heart/lungs, etc. They called it abnormal GBS because the spinal fluid test results weren’t textbook, but basically I got it early.

I have seen some posts previous on GBS and wondered if anyone else has had it or knew someone who has. I am curious the recovery timeline process and if there is anything else that helped. As of now it’s just wait and see. People I talked too were all very worried because for most it was very serious, months in the hospital, etc. I’m still not out of the woods, I’m about 2 weeks in and the cycle is usually 4 weeks of getting worse, then plateau’s and it takes months if not years to fully recover. Hopefully the IVIG at least stops the progress, starting to see small steps of progress.
