I have noticed the opposite of clingy neighbors. Our neighborhood is about 20 years old. Shortly after new construction, neighbors had block parties, group firepit events, pool parties, etc. Now it's common for many to roll into there garage, drop the door and seldom if ever come outside. We had one guy who didn't know his next door neighbor's name after 6 months of occupancy. I'm going to do a boomer thing here and point to younger people as the claustrophobes. Yes, kids will take up a lot of time, but I don't see any dads throwing any sport balls to Jr. outside. I don't see many moms riding bikes with Susie outside. How can you live in Florida and want to spend 90% of your waking hours indoors?
Or maybe they just don't like me.
