The list for promotion to O4 Major came out yesterday and I was on the list. As a result, I called branch to determine when my follow on school dates would be only to discover that I am on assignment for Saudi Arabia and will leave this summer to take this position:
Serves as the Systems Acquisitions and Aviation Branch Chief, Office of the Program Manager (OPM), Saudi Arabian National Guard (SANG) Modernization Program, responsible for all matters pertaining to system acquisition.
It is going to suck being away from my family for a year but I am extremely excited for this new opportunity. God is great and he is watching over me and my family.
