My wife and I are going to be in D.C. over the 4th of July and looking for suggestions on the best place to go to see the fireworks. D.C Cruise has a ship for $100 each but no food or drinks and they can’t get past any of the bridges so doesn’t seem worth it. The View hotel has a standing room only deal for $50 a head and it doesn’t come with any food or drinks. We can always take a blanket to the Mall and stake out a spot early in the day but not too keen on sitting there for 8-10 hours.
