Hello. I share very little personal information on here as I am a pretty private person but would appreciate some advice. My dad passed away yesterday after being hospice care for the last few weeks. He was home and I am thankful that we got to spend time with him before his passing. He was 88 and had a long and wonderful life. My mom and dad were married for 62 years.
My post is really about any advice or lessons learned with handling the next chapter with the remaining parent. We will meet with the lawyer, financial planner to so my mom feels more secure and knows how to access funds. Her name is already on everything so that should hopefully ease the next steps.
