Fellas, wifey just had ACL/meniscus repair surgery yesterday and everything went well.
We’re onto pain management which has been tough. We went back to the ER because Percocets 7.5 weren’t doing anything and she was in agonizing pain.
They gave her a morphine shot and prescribed her Dilaudid 2g (2 if needed). I’m aware it is very strong.
Just venting because I’m in my driveway and she can’t get out due to pain when she moves it. She’s finally resting/sleeping (in the car) while I’m keeping guard. Luckily there’s a breeze.
I gave her half an edible to see if it helps. Fingers crossed.
I knew post op would be miserable but man it’s tough.
Anyone else been through an ACL surgery? Any tips? More edibles? Sleep in car?
