Took my girls to the game last night in Miami. Aside from having to go to Miami, traffic, and parked in a parking garage for 40 minutes after the game, etc….what an event! We got there about 5:30 and the area and parking was packed. It was non stop entertainment from walking in over an hour before the game, the full 2 hour game, and the SHOWDOWN (extra innings).
There wasn’t a second from walking in through the post-game party outside to stop. Continuous music, dancing m, tons of fan involvement, and the play was decent. Probably college level players, but super athletic guys, lots of trick plays, etc.
Girls were disappointed the Bananas lost, but I was secretly going for the Party Animals.
There were so many things college, minor league, and even pro teams could take from a fan excitement /involvement and entertainment perspective. While geared around kids/families, there were people of every age group there having a blast. I think the mom’s/women enjoyed the eye candy. Definitely got our money’s worth.
