The older I get as I push into my later 30’s, time seems to be absolutely zooming. You look up and it’s another change of the season, time for your 6-month dental cleaning, and the holidays soon approaching. Sure this football season has been a dud but we were healthy enough to make it to games, financially stable to invest in our programs, and have loved ones and friends to enjoy (or commiserate) it with.
This year I’m thankful for another holiday season with my folks. Starting to realize to not take holidays and birthdays for granted. The older I get, you forget they are growing older too.
This year I expanded outside of my comfort zone taking on different clientele and gained confidence in my abilities that I could still deliver and learn new things in a different field.
Thankful for a mild hurricane season compared to many others who were in the path of storms this year.
Thankful I’ve gotten to spend some real quality time with my nephew and niece and reigniting our family summer tradition of a week in Ormond Beach that me and my sisters enjoyed so much as kids.
I’m thankful to be alive, and making another spin around the sun.
