Join Bailey Adams and Christian Simmons from the Pegasus Podcast as they react to the latest in UCF Sports.

In this episode, the guys discuss the reasonable expectations and results expected in year 1 of the new Scott Frost tenure.

With so much newness, will UCF fans be patient?

Thanks for watching here.

We gave Gus three years, the problem was we kept trending downwards. I think fans will be more patient with Frost. 6-6 is acceptable for Y1 IMO. We had several games where time mismanagement among other head scratching GameDay decisions cost us wins.

UCF fans NEED to be patient. Gus Malzone left the roster in bad shape…there was minimal development of the players signed out of high school.

Not you guys…but the UCF silver tongues: Brandon H, Lil Leonard, Not Elite Athletes, Bianchi, Murschel, Sidelines UCF, RBJ, UCF Sports Info and others of that ilk HAVE to show some restraint and keep the hype meter at a low level.

The usual hype factor by the above mentioned parties will only cause unachievable expectations and disappointment. The focus should not be on wins (obviously very important) but on talent acquisition and player development.

It’s a long rebuild and progress will be gradual. 4-5 wins is UCF’s absolute ceiling for the 2025 season.
