A couple folks informed me over the weekend that UCF has told them they will be refunding their pledges for club seats at the "new" baseball stadium.
Back in the spring of 2013, UCF thought they would break ground on baseball renovations later that summer and began collecting pledges for the new club area. The financing fell through so the stadium project is stalled.
For new life to be breathed into the project, I'm hearing they need a pledge(s) to the tune of at least $1M. They tried to shop naming rights, but that's not likely going to be anywhere near as lucrative as football and basketball.
