They are 7-9 on the season including their series win over us and have played 13 home games. The only road games they have played were vs UCF. We also won a home series over them last year.
You missed the point (as usual). They (GaS) were a great team last year and hosted a regional, brought back basically the whole team and their “brand” doesn’t have anything to do with football. That was the point and response to the guy who just wants to always be negative about UCF when things aren’t a “win”….constantly negative about everything. He’s basically the “BullAwakening” of our forum if “BullAwakening” was always negative (he’s actually annoyingly positive on TBP). He’s the opposite of “BullAwakening” if you will…

I am positive when it is warranted and you know that . there hasn’t been much good news with any of our athletic programs lately. Mostly a lot of bad losses in various sports since that Football win vs Cinci
The point? You were attempting to downplay losing a home series to Georgia Southern based on previous years results. The fact is in 2023 they are 5-8 outside of our series and have played every one of those games at home. They won’t be hosting a regional this year and losing a series to them isn’t excusable because of a prior year performance that was abnormal for their overall program. Stetson hosted a regional recently as well the following year they were sub .500. Georgia Southern isn’t a perennial baseball power. They had a good year.

B12 sends a teams to the CWS pretty much every year, and has had as many as 3 teams in the CWS in a single year. AAC has never had any team make the CWS.
For several B12 programs, Texas, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, TCU, making the NCAA tournament is a given each year. Its whether they make it to CWS.
Terry is probably waiting until after year 1 in the B12 to start canning people.

He would have definitely hired Messer if he hired Gus. Messer was at LSU. They just won. But she’s finding out getting good players to AAC wasnt easy. Hopefully B12 will be better for recruiting.

Lovelady looks to have some real studs in this recruiting class. The problem is…how many will actually make it on campus after the MLB draft? Charlee Soto and Garrett Baumann are absolute beasts…my fear is they’ll have a lot of $$$ thrown at them…it’s looking like it.

I heard that the UCF baseball team was running after their game against Miami. Running to the team bus as fast as they could. Boys fake flexed at Clemson only to suck the rest of the way. Classic.

Website says the last ECU baseball game was on at 12 on iheart. I didnt hear it on there nor can get a final. Any help?

Then I look at the Dawkins decision and realize he very well may. I'm not sure what Terry is thinking. The trajectory of the most visible athletics programs heading into the B12 is concerning. Football season ended poorly. Baseball and basketball suck despite having had coaches in place for more than enough time to build something and show what they can do.

Lovelady had his contract extended through 2025 back in August 2021. UCF baseball record in 2021 was 31-30.

the sport is basically a park where you can Day drink in the summer. College Baseball can be an even tougher watch than MLB
I watched the Pirates White Sox. Today. With them forcing the pitchers to pitch every 20 seconds or so the games are pretty quick. I like the Pirates so I liked it. I’m not watching a mediocre UCF team.
Seems like baseball and basketball have been mirroring each other. Years of getting us excited with promising early season form against non conference opponents, only to shit the bed from mid season on.
